Who am I?
I'm Arif, a dedicated, result-oriented and analytical geotechnical civil engineer with a strong academic background and experience. Substantial experience from working on major projects and proficiency with geotechnical design programs such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, and Slide, is complemented by knowledge of international geotechnical design codes, including Eurocode 7, FHWA, etc. Currently working in the high-speed train project.
Detailly, I graduated from Yıldız Technical University in 2017. I took part in many projects and academic studies here. Later, after working as a civil engineer in a company in Istanbul, I won a special scholarship from the Ministry of National Education in 2020 and went to the United Kingdom for my education. I completed my master's degree here at the University of Southampton. In addition to many courses that improved my academic knowledge, I wrote a thesis that dealt with railway engineering and geotechnics together. After my graduation, I turned back to my country and started working at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. Here I was assigned to the Railway Construction Department and the Mersin-Adana-Osmaniye-Gaziantep High-Speed Train Project. I am still working here. Thank you!
